If you are considering exporting for the first time, why don't you begin with Benelux?
EMDA, Nottingham
Wed 26th Mar 2008, 07:45 to 10:00
This event has finished.
Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg are all founder members of EU, with long standing trading links with UK. The Netherlands and Belgium are the fifth and sixth largest export markets respectively for the UK. Although Luxembourg is a small market, its citizens nevertheless enjoy the highest standard of living in the world.
The Benelux countries have open, well developed and highly competitive markets, with opportunities in most sectors - especially for small and medium-sized business. That is why many UK exporters begin with Benelux!
Our next breakfast workshop, Begin with Benelux, is aimed at those who are currently trading with these countries, as well at those who are looking to do so.
We have arranged for the Heads of Trade and Investment from the British Embassies in The Hague and Brussels to join us and to give us the inside track on doing business with the Benelux countries. There will be a strong emphasis on interaction and you will have the opportunity to ask our speakers questions specific to your company.
The conference will be held at the East Midlands Development Agency (emda), Nottingham on Wednesday 26 March 2008. Registration and breakfast will commence at 07h45; the seminar will start at 08h30 and will end at 10h00.
