Export To Ireland Opportunities On Your Doorstep

NSPCC National Training Centre, Leicester
Tue 14th Sep 2010, 07:45 to 10:00

This event has finished.

Interested in expanding your business into a new market that’s right on your doorstep? Then look no further than Ireland where every man, woman and child spends an average of £3,607 per year on British goods, one of the highest per capita spends on British products in the world.

Discover more about the opportunities that exist for your business in the Irish market and how to tap into this potential by joining us for a breakfast seminar on Tuesday 14 September at the NSPCC National Training Centre in Leicester.

The morning will provide you with:

  • A specialist overview of Ireland from Pete McWilliams, a Trade Adviser at the British Embassy in Dublin, including the current business climate, considerations for the routes to market, trading challenges and how to overcome them, plus details of the support available to assist your business to succeed.

  • The low down on the business opportunities that are available in almost all sectors from Simon McKeever, the Director of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy in Dublin. This will be followed by a focus on food & drink, fashion & textiles and healthcare, as Ireland is one of the world's largest importers of UK products from these sectors.

  • First hand practical advice from Mel Smith of AVEVA Solutions Ltd who will share his experiences of how this Chesterfield based business successfully formed a partnership with a company in Ireland.

The event will commence with registration and breakfast from 7.45 am. The presentations will begin at 8.30 am and come to a close 10.00 am, after which our guest speakers from Dublin will be available for short one-to-one meetings.

Don’t overlook the opportunities that Ireland can offer and book a place today!
