The East Midlands International Trade Association's (emita) Getting Paid event, explored the difficulties around getting paid, how logistics and delivery terms directly affect payment and what you can do to make it easier for your customers to pay.
Presentations from David Pearson, International Trade Finance Director with The Royal Bank of Scotland, Andrew Shipley, partner and solicitor advocate in the litigation department at Nelsons Solicitors and Glyndwr Powell who runs his own Trade Finance house and has thirty years experience in credit and sales financing, presented delegates with real proven examples of how to successfully manage getting paid.
