Located between the two superpowers of Japan and China, South Korea is Asia’s fourth largest economy and is home to 50 million people. The country is eager to reduce its dependence on the US and Japan and is increasingly looking to Europe as a source of imports.

 

This free trade deal will liberalise goods tariffs and encourage increased business between British and South Korean companies, with analysis indicating the UK could benefit by up to £500m.

 

The event will take place at the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) in Nottingham and our guest speakers, including experts from the British Embassy in Seoul, will share their knowledge on:
