Celebrate European Day of Languages by improving your business language skills

Exporters in the East Midlands are being offered the opportunity to participate in a language training session to celebrate European Day of Languages for just £20.

If you have existing language skills, whether it be school French or night school Spanish, and would like to improve your linguistic ability for business purposes this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

We are offering a full-day of language training, in Spanish, French or German, to help improve your ability to conduct business overseas.  The session will build confidence in your chosen language and you can retain course materials for future reference.

All sessions will take place on Friday 25 September (European Day of Languages takes place on 26th September but this is a Saturday) and will be run by a language trainer from the UKTI quality-assured providers database.

You can choose from:

French in Nottingham – delivered by Jo Small of Optima Training – to be held at EMDA

French in Northamptonshire – delivered by Helen Distel of the Language Company – to be held at Opus House, Moulton Road, Northampton, NN3 6JA

German in Lincolnshire – delivered by Brigitte Peach of Languages for Life - to be held at Commerce House, Lincoln, LN2 4HY

German in Leicestershire – delivered by Sally Fagan – to be held at Charnwood Court, New Walk, Leicester, LE1 6TE

Spanish in Derby – delivered by Elaine Walker of Elanga International – to be held at EMB Ltd, Riverside Park, Raynesway, Derby, DE21 7BF

European Day of Languages is held annually to celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity and we want to use this opportunity to make a real difference to your perception and use of languages.

For a minimal fee of just £20, which includes a buffet lunch, you can expand your language skills with expert tuition and hopefully feel confident enough to remember and use what you have learned.  We’re sorry that we won’t be able to cater for absolute beginners on this occasion as we need to allow tutors to plan lessons for similar ability groups.
