Namibia Seeks Ties With Leicester To Improve Education

The High Commissioner of Namibia -His Excellency George M. Liswaniso recently visited Leicester, on the invitation of Business Champion, Frederick Muyijimi.

The Lord Mayor Cllr. Roger Blackmore and Lady Mayoress Mrs. Hilary Blackmore warmly welcomed the High Commissioner to the City of Leicester at a civic reception attended by dignitaries from the Council, Schools and business.

Namibia is seeking the assistance of the region to improve their education sector, initially through establishing cluster twinning with schools in Leicestershire.

The High Commissioner and his entourage later paid a courtesy visit to Cromwell Tools Ltd, one of the world’s leading supplier of industrial and educational tools based in the region He was conducted around state of the art global distribution facilities in Wigston.
