As my tenure at UK Trade & Investment draws to a close, it’s time for a little reflection…
25 March 2010
RSMTenon has now reviewed the vast reams of Budget small print to bring you their analysis of the changes announced on 24 March 2010.
As expected, there is a lot buried away in the detail. RSM Tenon’s analysis, together with their recommendations for immediate and longer term action, has now been posted on their website.
Over the next few days the full impact of some of the announcements will emerge and there will be further developments as the Finance Bill makes its way through Parliament. The Finance Bill timetable will be very tight this year and it may be that not all of the proposals will actually be enacted this side of the election but whatever happens the RSM Tenon website will be updated regularly to bring you all the latest news.
Click on the links below to see the detail related to the individual areas of tax which are more relevant to you:
Capital Gains Tax
VAT and Indirect Taxes
Stamp Duty and SDLT
RSM Tenon’s local tax team will be happy to discuss with you any points coming out of the Budget which you think may have a particular relevance to you.
