Japan 6 Months On

Just six months ago the triple blow of the earthquake, tsunami and consequent nuclear incident had a devastating effect on Japan.

But, with remarkable resilience, the country and its people are recovering, and while there obviously remains much to do in rebuilding and rehabilitation, they clearly believe that getting business back on track will help to get the country back to normal.

Andrew is a partner in the litigation department at Challinor's Solicitors. He is a solicitor advocate and has over 15 years experience handling commercial disputes. Much of the work Andrew does and that of the teams he supervises has an international element.

Andrew has worked and travelled extensively overseas. He was the chief executive of a large European network of accountants and lawyers for 3 years and also spent 4 years working in the South Pacific, two of them as a judge.

He is a keen supporter of international initiatives from his home region of the East Midlands.
