Japan 6 Months On

Just six months ago the triple blow of the earthquake, tsunami and consequent nuclear incident had a devastating effect on Japan.

But, with remarkable resilience, the country and its people are recovering, and while there obviously remains much to do in rebuilding and rehabilitation, they clearly believe that getting business back on track will help to get the country back to normal.

Elizabeth is the Marketing Executive for the East Midlands International Trade Association.

After studying Business at higher education in 1997 Elizabeth worked at the Department of Social Security as a Benefit Officer. In 2004 Elizabeth embarked on a career change and worked for Pet Products International as an Import & Export Administrator dealing with the receiving and distribution of Japanese specialist Koi food.

Elizabeth's role at emita is to undertake all the organising and marketing of the events, and to work closely with partner organisations to keep emita in the public eye.
