Exporting starts at home

A short while ago I dined at a very well known Leicestershire venue that attracts people from all over the country. The dessert menu included 'a selection of French cheeses'. Nothing wrong in that you may say but ponder a little longer and you begin to wonder why specifically French cheeses. That venue is but a few miles from the source of some of the best cheeses in the world, made locally in Leicestershire. The UK more widely makes a huge range of some of the finest cheeses that money can buy.

Adding A Member Event

I just tried to upload an event for out organisation to the emita website but every time I try it just seems to go wrong. What do I do?

It's quite easy. Just follow the instructions below...

First register as a member.
Pay your membership fee. An emita administrator will mark your account as paid when they receive your payment.
Log in using the username and password you were sent when you registered for membership. You will see the following options in the grey Member's box in the right column of the website : Logout, Account Details, Your Events, Add An Opportunity & Add An Event.
Click the "Add An Event" link. You will be taken to a page containing a form requesting the following information: Event Name, Event Description, Logo / Icon, Event Date, Start Time, End Time, Venue, Street Address, City, Postcode & Venue Web Address.
Provide details in all of these input boxes and then press the "Upload Opportunity" button.

NOTE : The Logo / Icon should be a jpeg, gif or png image which is small enough to upload to the internet, try and keep it to less than 100k. The Venue Web Address should be the full URL (including http://) to the location page of the venue's website. Pretty much everything else is self explanatory.

There you have it. An Event for your organisation uploaded to the website.
