Eligibility for Membership

emita is an information and networking organisation which welcomes membership by individuals and organisations that are trading or wish to trade internationally - both export and import.

 

Delegates attending our events for the purpose of selling their products and services are actively discouraged as this will have a detrimental effect on the other attendees. emita reserves the right to refuse attendance and / or membership by these people and organisations concerned.

 

Terms and Conditions of Membership

 

Duration of Membership

The minimum membership period is 12 months.

 

Payment Terms

30 days from day of invoice.

 

Termination of Membership

A member has the right to cancel their membership at any time by giving written notice. If a member cancels their membership, emita will refund part of any fee they have paid pro rata to the balance remaining of their membership year.

 

Before calculating the sum to be returned to the member, emita will deduct from the yearly membership fee an administration fee of £20 and the cost of the events they have attended during the year at the rate they would have been charged if they had not been a member.
